The Small Grant for Training Course/ Field Trip on Mekong Youth and Agro-Ecology
Mekong Youth Farm Network (Y-Farm) has been developed by enthusiastic youth from countries in the Mekong Region. Y-Farm focuses on five main fields/issues that relate to youth development and sustainable agriculture in the region including (i) training courses and farm improvement; (ii) youth exchange on farming and sustainable agriculture; (iii) startup/agricultural innovation upon student’s return home; (iv) farm marketing and entrepreneurship; and (v) youth volunteerism.
Y-Farm plans to support small grant (200- 300 USD/training or field trip) local and grassroots group/organisation which work youth development in environment sustainability, especially agricultural sustainability. This grant can be used to organise for the group of participants (15-25 participants) to the issues of eco-farming system, sustainable environmental models (biogas, compost,renewable energy, etc), agri-tourism/eco-tourism, seed saving, value chain and its markets.

Targeted Groups: Lower Mekong Countries (Myanmar, Lao PDR, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam)
